A new Indiana law went into effect January 1st that mandates the Indiana Department of Revenue to post a list of all retail business who are delinquent in sending sales tax to the state. According to the DOR the retail licenses of these businesses have expired due to the delinquency.
What’s surprising is the number of businesses on the list – some 27,000! A lot of them have been out of business for some time. With that being said, chances are you’ll find businesses you’re familiar with. Here’s the link to the list:
